PROJECTS/DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - NFP

  • Complex, Australasia wide oversight role - End to end capital development/building - Melbourne based - Inner Eastern Suburbs
  • Base remuneration around $130,000pa, plus Superannuation & Salary packaging benefits
  • Highly reputable NFP - Medium sized projects throughout various State (& NZ) Locations

Your newly created role, reporting direct to the CEO, is as the internal hands on manager (& planner/prioritiser) of a range of necessary development projects ranging in size up to around $20M in value.  Your early focuses will include: Close oversight of an approved $20 million site d evelopment project, which is soon to enter construction, in Regional Victoria; Negotiation/Planning for a NZ redevelopment; Several smaller but important projects in various Australian states, and; Prioritising, Planning, Reporting on and Systematising the organisation's overall approach to project control/outcomes.

You will work closely alongside a committed team of collegiate people, who are driven first by role modelling the ‘spirit’ of the organisation’s mission and values.
 
A passionate and professional person, you are preferably Tertiary qualified in areas such as Building, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or Quantity surveying.  Your experience ideally has involved oversight from end to end of Commercial or Residential Building/Development projects (either from a Client or a Provider perspective).  You take an analytical & organised approach, which is also combined with pragmatism and prompt and clear decision making.  You have plenty of compassion & energy, and are looking for the right values driven role and organisation to work in and enjoy.  You will be in a personal situation where regular travel away from home is quite feasible.
